Relax Post Workout with this Cool Down Playlist
If you’ve taken a Mils Method on-demand class, then you know how I stress the importance of cooling down before you leave the mat. It’s crucial to let your heart rate come down, relax the mind, and stretch to increase range of motion after you finish an intense workout.
Cooling down and taking time to just stretch has also been great for my mental health. It’s easy to constantly get in that ‘go, go, go’ mentality with the way our lives are structured today, however constantly being in that fight or flight mode isn’t great for our cortisol levels (aka our stress hormone).
